Theater music: Incidental music and composition/arrangement
For many years I have accompanied plays with my music - on small and large stages, for streets - and dance theater. Except for musicals like "Shockheaded Peter" and "Anatevka" I usually compose the music myself and also play live on stage! Chaya's way
A collage of music, puppet theater and texts depicts Chaya's life from her childhood in the 1960s to the present day. Impressive how she is able to detach herself from the fear and hate that stems from her family's Holocaust:
“My parents and grandparents passed on the values and traumas of the past. For them it was only black or white. In order to survive, I had to evolve.
And I started to discover the colors.” Chaya, 2020

LaPoesia
In the tradition of the old traveling theatre, LaPoesia moves from place to place with a circus wagon and its own stage.
A poetic journey with breathtaking acrobatics, tongue-in-cheek clowning, bizarre elements and lots of music!
